Focus is on advanced nursing theory as it relates to complicated health deviations in patients throughout the lifespan.

Prerequisites

PSYC& 100 with a 2.0 G.P.A. or above, or current LPN Licensure and permission of program director.

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge or skills:

  1. Utilize holistic principles to prioritize nursing care for patients with selected complex conditions. (POC.1,)
  2. Apply appropriate nursing care interventions for patients with selected complex conditions. (MOC))
