This course focuses on student learning of production welding within a shop setting.

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge or skills:
- The student will be a proficient welder in shop or production weldments within a production setting.
Course Content Outline
At the completion or the course, the student will have the skills to perform the following:
- weld a variety of projects to industry tolerances
- apply a variety of welding processes on projects
- weld production type weldments to conform with applicable job standards
- weld projects to industry standards
- utilize multiple welding process
Department Guidelines
Grades will be calculated as follows:
50% Based on completing all course competencies.
50% Based on Lab Participation, Cleanup on a daily basis, and following ALL Safety rules.
