This course is taken in conjunction with AVF 295 (Work-Based Learning) and gives the student the opportunity and responsibility to report on their work experience and to analyze that experience for successes and for areas of improvement. May be repeated up to six (6) credits.

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge or skills:
- To give the student the opportunity to reflect on the work-based learning experiences and how they apply to professional goals.
- Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Articulate and develop their work experience to professional employers
- Understand how curriculum relates to practical experience
- Recognize learned skills from employment
- Identify issues within the aviation industry and how those relate to the student’s employment and employability.
Course Content Outline
Students will discuss their individual work experiences and impressions in written form and through seminar format. Examples of topics are:
- Working for an employer
- Working within a team
- Time management
- Developing a “can-do” personality
- The social aspects of an organization
- The resume
- Job interviews
- How to market yourself
- Specific aviation issues and the student’s part in the solution.
