Auditing a Course

A student may enroll in a course on an audit basis. An auditing student is not expected to take exams, but the instructor may require reasonable attendance and class participation. No college credit is earned for audited courses. Regular tuition and fee charges apply. Changes from credit to audit are permitted up to the final date to withdraw from classes, as published in the Academic Calendar; changes may not be made after the last day to withdraw unless approved by the instructor. Once a student is enrolled in a class on an audit basis, they can elect to change back to earning credit for the class up to the 10th business day of the quarter (instructor approval required).
