Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge or skills:

  1. Distinguish the origins and development of the world’s religions in written examinations.
  2. Distinguish the primary beliefs and concepts of the world’s religions in written examinations.
  3. Use appropriate research methods in an essay about world religions or new religious movements.
