This course is intended for students taking the CompTIA Network+ certification exam. Students will have materials, support, and practice exams provided to facilitate their preparation.

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge or skills:

  1. Apply the knowledge and skills learned from the prerequisite courses
  2. Pass the CompTIA Network+ (or industry equivalent) certification tests

  1. Study and prepare for CompTIA Network+ (or industry equivalent) certification tests
  2. Attempt the CompTIA Network + (or industry equivalent) certification tests
  3. Pass the CompTIA Network + (or industry equivalent) certification tests
Department Guidelines
Students who attempt the certification exams and earn 60% or more of the points will earn credit in the course. Successfully meeting the CompTIA Network+ scoring requirement (~80%) will result in earning the certification. Scores between 60 and 100% will be graded using the standard BBCC grading policies and grade points.
